A téma rövid leírása, a kidolgozandó feladat részletezése:
A nagyméretű építőmérnöki szerkezetek viselkedése folyamatos vizsgálatának fontosságára a közelmúltban történt katasztrófák még inkább felhívták a figyelmet. Ezen szerkezetmonitoring feladatokhoz napjainkban jellemzően különféle helyzet-, és deformációérzékelő szenzorokat (induktív adó, nyúlásmérő bélyeg, stb.) használunk.
Az elmúlt években azonban a geodéziában is elterjedtek a különféle automatikusan, nagy időbeli felbontással adatokat szolgáltató mérőeszközök/műszerek. A GNSS vevők, robot-mérőállomások, inerciális navigációs eszközök, dőlésmérők, lézer interferométerek, digitális kamerák, stb. lehetővé teszik, hogy geodéziai eszközökkel is valós időben, nagy időbeli felbontással határozhassuk meg a szerkezetek geometriai jellemzőit.
A kutatás célja, hogy a jelölt megvizsgálja a fent említett geodéziai mérések lehetséges szerepét a szerkezetek monitorozásában, különös tekintettel azokra a műszerekre, amelyek akár 50 Hz-nél is magasabb adatnyerési frekvenciával rendelkeznek, mint például a GNSS vevők, inerciális szenzorok, dőlésmérők, lézer interferométerek, digitális kamerák.
A jelölt feladata, hogy ezen adatnyerési technikák megfelelő kombinálásával megoldási javaslatot adjon a geodéziai mérések integrálására a nagyméretű szerkezetek állapotának/viselkedésének monitoring feladataiba.

The recent catastrophic damages of large civil engineering structures drew the attention to the importance of the continuous monitoring of such structures. Nowadays these monitoring systems utilize various positioning and deformation measurement sensors (inductive, capacitive, vibrating wire, strain gauge, etc.)
However, in the recent years even surveying instruments tend to provide geometrical observations with high accuracy and high frequency automatically. GNSS receivers, automatic total stations, inertial positioning systems, tilt sensors, laser interferometers, digital cameras, etc. enable us to determine the geometry of structures in real time with high temporal resolution.
The research goal of this proposal is to study the role of geodetic observations in the structural health monitoring of large civil engineering structures, with a special emphasis on those instruments, that are capable to provide observations with frequencies higher than 50Hz, such as GNSS receivers, inertial sensors, laser interferometers, etc.
The candidate will provide an approach for the integration of these geodetic observations in structural health monitoring. In order to achieve this, he/she will develop a sensor system with the integration of GNSS and inertial sensors for real-time deformation monitoring using both high-precision sensors as well as low-cost GNSS receivers and inertial sensors. The candidate determines the characteristics of the observation accuracy and formulates recommendations for the possible application areas and their limitations, too.
The candidate will develop an optimal technique for data processing by fusing both of the aforementioned sensors for real-time applications.
The developed hardware and software elements will be validated on existing large civil engineering structures. The observations will be organized in a database, that will provide the basis for the development of change detection algorithms.
The candidate will develop a change detection algorithm using artificial neural networks and deep learning algorithms.
